Dr Araceli Sanchez Jimenez
Araceli works as a Senior Scientist within the Centre for Human Exposure Science (CHES). She carries out studies on exposure assessment using measurement and modelling tools to assist health and regulatory agencies and industry.
She has developed several guidance reports on measurement methods for the assessment of size-selective particles for the Manganese and Nickel Institutes and has been involved in several projects assessing exposure to formaldehyde, oil mist and vapour, and particle size distribution of antifouling paints. She has also been actively involved in non-occupational exposure assessment studies, including exposure from burning of biomass, exposure to second-hand smoke, and indoor contaminants in consumer products.
Currently, Araceli is involved in several EU H2020 projects on nanosafety.
